#12: What to listen -1

What kind of text do you use for your listening practice? In fact there is two types of the text on the listening practice. One is the broadcasting type and the other is the conversation type. And in my opinion, we should use the text of the conversation type for our listening practice.
First, the sentence of this type is shorter than that of the broadcasting type, so it is easy for us to imitate the sounds. Second, the broadcasting type is some thing like written words, not spoken words so we barely use the words of the broadcasting type in our speaking. Finally the conversation type is more natural than the broadcasting type. In other words, the broadcasting type is too easy to practice our listening skill.
So we should be cautious to choose our listening text. You might as well choose the text of the conversation type.

Maybe we should not try to memorize something in our second language learning.

However, maybe these expressions are unnatural, aren't they? Maybe we should say "Shake your butt!" or "Shake your hips!"
But I have not heard someone saying "Shake your butt!" or "Shake your hips!". I have heard something like this. "Shake your booty!!" So I feel that the expression "Shake your booty!!" is more natural than the others.
By the way, even if we consult a dictionary for the word "尻", it is diffi…
